Howard Agency, founded in 1995, has become one of the leading providers of information and legal support services to Solicitors, Local Authority Legal Departments and various private clients in London and the Home Counties.

We have remained a relatively small organisation, for the sole purpose of providing an intimate, professional and confidential service therefore being able to keep work ‘in-house’ as opposed to out sourcing to third parties, as larger organisations tend to do. We also pride ourselves with the fact that over the past 10 years the majority of instructions have come via client recommendation.

Located in Wimbledon, South West London, we now also service various clients in the West End and City of London together with areas including Sutton, Croydon, Reigate, Guildford and Heathrow. Our staff comprise of both male and female operatives, whose various backgrounds bring together an experience and professionalism committed to the highest standards when undertaking assignments. Our established contacts and sources of information provide the necessary intelligence essential to any trace or investigation.

We are members of the Association of British Investigators (A.B.I.) and licensed by both the Office of Fair Trading under the Consumer Credit Act and Data Protection Act 1998.

The Private Security Industry Act 2001 introduced the requirement for licensing of all personnel employed in the Security Sector. The S.I.A has been set up for the purpose of setting out the required criteria and granting of licenses to all Private Investigators and Process Servers, which is expected to commence in 2011. Howard Agency fully supports this Government initiative and participates in the industry debates within the Association of British Investigators and Security Sector.
